Fairview Young Adults

Fairview’s mission is to nurture lives to stand in Christ at every step, and we believe this means that every young adult should be actively seeking to nurture and be nurtured in Christ no matter where they are in faith or life.

We are convinced that this mission is best accomplished through the strategy, worship - develop - serve. This strategy calls every Fairview covenant partner (member) to (1) regularly worship God on Sunday mornings and through the week, (2) regularly develop as a disciple through one of our ministries (adult ministries are listed below) and/or through a discipleship relationship, and (3) regularly serve Fairview as well as the surrounding community and world.

Two Convictions About Young Adults

1. God is calling Fairview to nurture young adults.

Young adulthood is full of adventure, fun, and growth, but often it comes with questions, difficulties, and loneliness . Fairview wants to be the hands and feet of Jesus to you. We want to pray for you and wrestle alongside you in the hard times, and help you grow with Jesus.

2. Young adults are called to nurture Fairview.

Young adults have a lot to offer, and God often uses them to help us see our blind spots and set the example in faith and love (1 Timothy 4:12). We believe God wants to use you, and we want to learn from and grow with you in our love for Jesus.

Sunday School classes are the intergenerational small groups of the church. They laugh, cry, and pray together as they study God’s Word, and they invest in one another’s lives.

Our Young Adult Community Group is a weekly gathering of young adults in community and in God’s Word.

Community Group is a place for us to be real. We don’t pretend or have it all together. We just come as ourselves and share as much as we’re comfortable. Our group leaders are an open book and welcome any question and every joy, doubt, and struggle.
